The Sensual Seductions 7″ was recorded in 2008 at Dub Narcotic Studios in Olympia as a collaboration by Karl Blau, Team Gina, Your Heart Breaks, Stembo (Steve Moore of Earth, Sunn O))), Sufjan Stevens), and members of LAKE. These songs are half-covers of two songs- The Right Stuff by New Kids on the Block and Sensual Seduction by Snoop Dogg. Half-covers in the sense that the chorus of both songs hold true to the original but the verses are original.

Clyde Petersen (Your Heart Breaks) produced the recording session and in October of 2010, proposed that these two songs be one of Off Tempo’s first set of vinyl releases. There was frustration in these songs only being available on the internet as MySpace streaming song. This was an exciting release but took some months before the label make happen. Part of this time was figuring out royalty arrangements and other production costs. Logistics aside, the Sensual Seduction / The Right Stuff 7″ became a reality.
